Sneaky ingredients to healthier smoothies

I’ve been getting tired of the typical banana-chocolate protein shake or a banana-strawberry vanilla protein shake…. I wanted to mix it up. What if I added some vegetables? Some almond milk? Of course I messed up bad at the beginning… but after a few tries, I came up with these little sneaky ingredients to a healthier smoothie ….

Try a blueberry spinach and banana smoothie. Super high in fiber. Use frozen blueberries to replace the ice cubes.
    *add almond milk
Or what about a mango-coconut spinach smoothie?
Try a peach, banana, avocado and spinach smoothie. Use frozen bananas in place of ice cubes. Avocados contain more potassium than bananas and are packed with vitamins and nutrients.
    *add almond milk
  3. KALE
Try a strawberry, pineapple, kale smoothie. Add some honey and almond milk in the blender. Kale is zero in fat, high in fiber and low in calories. Perfect for digestion.
Try a spinach, celery, small apple, 1/2 cucumber, some berries and water and some ice. Blend it up. Celery has a gentle diuretic effect that helps normalize fluids in your body. Aka. helps get rid of that bloating feel.
Try a Green Warrior Smoothie. Cucumber prevents water retention and is packed with bioavailable minerals, vitamins, and electrolytes.
Try a cranberry, apple, spinach smoothie.  Cranberries will help with a lower risk of urinary tract infections, prevention of certain types of cancer, improved immune function, and decreased blood pressure.
